Philip J. Render, DMD, recently celebrated his 10th year of his dental practice at Abingdon Office Park, Hayes.

Dr. Render specializes in prothodontics, and dentures, caps, crowns, bridges and implants.

Also, he offers general dentistry services such as exams, cleanings and fillings. Render said he and his staff check for oral cancer and gum disease during their routine examinations.

Render said he offers "gentle dentistry," giving patients a relaxed visit instead of rushing them. "You (the patient) are the most important person in the office," he said, and he respects his patients’ schedules and tries to see them promptly, with 85 percent of patients seen within 10 minutes of their appointment time.

He provides dental care for the whole family, with special emphasis on serving the elderly. Render now operates Monday-Wednesday and plans to add Thursday hours later this winter.
