The Piankatank River Ladies Golf Association hosted its annual Golf Invitational on Thursday, June 29 at the Piankatank River Golf Club, Hartfield. This year’s theme was “The Roaring ’20s Cha Cha Charleston” with festivities, raffles, food and fun organized by planning committee co-chairs Gloria Matthews, Donna Lange and Michele Meanley.Twenty-four teams comprised of 96 women from the surrounding area as well as from regional destinations and other golf clubs and courses participated in the team game of “Cha-Cha-Cha.”
