A funeral for Harry R. “Sonny Boy” Gwynn of Mathews, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Newington Baptist Church, Gloucester. He died Friday, April 11, 2014.

Survivors include his wife, Inez E. Gwynn; four sons, Randy, Angelo, Bryant and Marcus, and a daughter, Tonia Gwynn.

He retired from Naval Weapons Station, Yorktown, in July 1996.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Friday at Forrest Brothers Funeral Home, Hudgins.

Burial will follow the service in First Baptist Church Cemetery, Mathews.
