The fall collection of hazardous household waste in Gloucester will take place 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21, at the Hayes Convenience Center, 7599 Guinea Road.
According to Waste Management, which operates the center, hazardous household waste includes such items as auto products, garden products, household cleaners, moth balls, pool chemicals, lights and disinfectants, paint, hobby and pet products, and special items such as fire extinguishers, medical waste and computers.
