Gloucester County’s Household Harmful Waste Collection Day will be held on Saturday, Oct. 19, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. at Hayes Convenience Center, located on Guinea Road.
At this collection, Glou- cester residents can dispose of the following:
—Automobile hazardous waste: antifreeze, brake and transmission fluids, gasoline and batteries;
—Paint supplies: paints, thinners, epoxy and wood preservatives;
—Gardening/outdoor supplies; pesticides, herbicides and pool chemicals; and,
—Household items: small propane canisters and propane tanks, fire extinguishers, toxic household cleaners, drain cleaners, mercury, batteries and electronics.
