A collection of harmful household waste will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Hayes Convenience Center, 7599 Guinea Road, Gloucester Point.
This free collection is open to Gloucester County residents only. Commercial quantities, quantities that exceed a reasonable residential household amount, and/or hazardous waste generated by businesses will not be accepted.

The average household has between three and 10 gallons of materials that are potentially hazardous to human health or the environment. Many products in daily use (cleaners, pesticides, solvents) are toxic to people and ecosystems when disposed of improperly. If you have a large amount, need it disposed of immediately, and/or the waste is from a business, harmful waste can be disposed of, for a fee, by Veolia North America.
