To commemorate and celebrate the life of longtime volunteer Anne Dyal, ReStore of Gloucester-Mathews Habitat for Humanity will hold promotions Tuesday-Saturday, May 9-13.
Daily specials, raffles for a Mother’s Day gift basket, $25 certificate to Scoot’s BBQ, $50 certificate to ReStore, and a silent auction with 20 items available for bidding, are planned.
Stuart Anderson, 1978 Mathews High School graduate and National Football League player from 1982-86, will be at the store to sign autographs on Saturday, May 13 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
Drawings for all items will be held at 2 p.m. May 13.
ReStore is located at 3727 George Washington Memorial Highway, Hayes.
Anne Cary Dyal died on May 21, 2022, bereaving a number of community organizations, including Habitat, of an active and dedicated volunteer.
