Thirty members of Gloucester Volunteer Fire and Rescue Service, Inc., trained on Monday, March 17 on the department’s new Paratech Rescue Struts. These will increase the department’s capabilities to stabilize large commercial vehicles as well as passenger vehicles. They are lightweight and can be deployed more quickly yet have higher rating with regard to vehicle weights, GVFR said.
