Three-year-old Tommy Kincaid came prepared to Sunday afternoon’s Gloucester Volunteer Fire and Rescue open house at Station 1 in Gloucester Court House, already decked out in turnout gear as he waits his turn for a ride in a fire truck. In addition to the fire truck rides, visitors got the opportunity to tour the firehouse, get a fire safety lesson, meet Sparky the Fire Dog and the volunteers who keep everything running.
