Gunnar David LaLand of New Point, Virginia, passed away on Wednesday, July 5, 2023. Gunnar was born on June 17, 2023, and fought for the two short weeks he was here.

Gunnar was predeceased by his grandfather, Geoffry LaLand.

He is survived by his parents, Lynn and Stacey LaLand; a sister, Aubrey LaLand; his grandparents, Dave and Beth Crigler, Nancy LaLand and Martha LaLand, and his aunts, uncles and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU, 2924 Brook Road, Richmond, Va. 23220. Faulkner Funeral Homes, Foster-Faulkner Chapel, Mathews, Virginia, is assisting the family.
