Guinea youth art classes

Thanks to a grant from the Gloucester Community Foundation, children 9-12 years old participated in free art classes offered by the Guinea Heritage Association. Taught at Buck’s Store Museum by Nancy Wilburn, artist and retired teacher from Achilles Elementary School, the classes introduced budding artists to fiber art, watercolors, acrylics, and found art/collage. Those taking part included, clockwise from right, Wilburn, Elsa Koehler, Quinn Jordan, Saoirse Gatzke, Natalia Hutter, Helena Hutter and Donna Phillips.
