The Board of Directors of the Gloucester United Emergency Shelter Team (GUEST) will hold its annual board meeting at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Ware Episcopal Church Parish Hall, Route 14, Gloucester.
Board chair Bill Parks will preside. The agenda will include recognition of the many individuals and church congregations that have supported the services of GUEST over the last several years. The organization’s new Executive Director, Michelle Wells, will also be recognized. Church congregations as well as members of the community are invited to attend.
With the winter season approaching, the GUEST program needs winter clothing which include long-sleeved shirts, sweatshirts, sweaters, coats, tennis shoes and boots (sizes 10-14) and thermal underwear. Food items needed are canned or pouched chicken or tuna, instant oatmeal packets, canned stews, and ready-made meals in pouches. The program also is in need of blankets.
