A Celebration of Life service for Gregory Scott Allen, 48, of Gloucester, will be held at 11 a.m. today in Huntington Mennonite Church, Newport News. He died June 19, 2011.

He was a carpenter.

His mother, Virginia D. Allen, and sister, Susan, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his children, Leigh Ann Allen, Katie Marie Allen, Gregory Scott Allen Jr., James Jackson Allen and Jessica Hannah Allen; father, Jack Allen; brothers, Jack Allen Jr., Douglas Allen, Raymond Allen and David Allen.

The service will be conducted by the Rev. Eric Musser. Inurnment will be private.
