The Beauty Vault, located on Main Street in Gloucester, will hold a grand opening for its new Essential-ly U! beauty and makeup services from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday. Refreshments and product samples will be offered.

Michaela Lee of Gloucester operates Essential-ly U! After operating the beauty and skin care business part-time from her Gloucester residence for about one year, Lee began working part-time at The Beauty Vault in mid-June, offering skin consultations, makeup advice and application, and skin care and beauty products. No toxic or artificial substances are used in preparation of these products, she said. Lee custom mixes some of the products to achieve the correct color that the client is striving for.

Lee, who is working toward her certification as a makeup artist, said she now operates as a beauty consultant. She handles makeup for a belly dance troupe she coordinates.
