Holtzman Propane of Tappahannock celebrated the grand opening of its new showroom on Sunday, Aug. 1, with an open house and raffle. The celebration included free food and drinks, product demonstrations, and showroom tours. Prizes for the raffle were donated by local businesses, raising $1,078 for the Tappahannock-Essex Volunteer Fire Department. A family-owned and -operated business, Holtzman Oil was founded in 1972 in Mount Jackson expanding since then to Tappahannock and Lanexa.
