The Democratic Committees of Gloucester, Mathews and Middlesex counties enjoyed a robust crowd of supporters at Saturday’s opening ceremony of the Tri-County Democrats Office at Main Street Center, Gloucester C.H. Chairs Pam Garner of Gloucester, Sheila Crowley of Mathews, Hallie Holmes of Middlesex, as well as Leslie Mehta, from left, participated in the ribbon-cutting ceremony at noon. Mehta is the Democratic candidate for Congress in CD1. She spoke of her background, qualifications and vision for CD1.
