Grace Covenant presents seminar about coping with major transitions

Beth Gibson will present a seminar, “Making Transitions: From the White House to My House,” at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 26, at Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church, 6470 Main Street, Gloucester. Free supper is served at 6 o’clock, and child care is included.
The seminar is designed to help people going through a life change or anticipating a change, such as having a baby, starting a new job, becoming a stay-at-home parent or caretaker, having a child start school or move away, moving themselves, downsizing, retiring, or even facing a death. 
Gibson will teach the stages of a healthy transition and share useful tips and humorous stories, based on her experiences. “Everyone can learn to grow and even thrive during times of intense change,” she said.
