State Sen. Ryan McDougle (R-Mechanicsville) and five Gloucester Republican elected officials cut the ribbon last Wednesday to officially open the Gloucester Republican 2023 Campaign Office on Route 17 South in the Court House area. Taking part in the event were, from left, Commissioner of the Revenue JoAnne Harris, county supervisor Ashley Chriscoe, Treasurer Tara Thomas, McDougle, Commonwealth’s Attorney John Dusewicz and county supervisor Chris Hutson. Redistricting placed Gloucester in the new Senate District 26 for which Sen. McDougle is the Republican nominee. He is opposed in the November general election by Pam Garner.
