The dynamic jazz ensemble Good Shot Judy will perform at 3 p.m. on Sunday at Mathews High School in the auditorium. The presentation is sponsored by Concerts by the Bay. Performing upbeat swing, mambo, cha-cha, rockabilly, calypso and even some rock music, Good Shot Judy has adapted music in a way that fits their sound. The group was created as a jazz trio by brothers Brett and Jeff Cahoon in 2013, but the members quickly found out they weren’t alone in believing that the music they loved so well could be performed in a way that was very entertaining and energetic. Over the past five years, Good Shot Judy has continued to grow and to perform with up to 14 members, featuring six horns, four rhythm players and a female vocalist. Tickets are $25. Children are free. Visit www.concertsbythebay.org for tickets, or purchase them at the door.
