Good Shot Judy headlines at Virginia’s Li’l Ole Opry

Virginia’s Li’l Ole Opry will make a departure from its usual country music offerings this week to present the Big Band sound of Good Shot Judy. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday at Mathews High School’s Harry M. Ward Auditorium, with the show starting at 8.
Good Shot Judy, with Gloucester brothers Brett and Jeff Cahoon at the helm, has made a name for themselves in the local music scene over the past few years. The tuxedo-clad group specializes in recreating the classic nightclub entertainment feel of Las Vegas in its prime. From the swinging sounds of Sinatra, Basie, and contemporaries like Michael Bublé and Harry Connick Jr., to the ballads of Ella Fitzgerald and Billie Holiday, Good Shot Judy offers glitz, glamour and great songs from an amazing era of music, a release stated.
