Good News revival starts Sept. 27

Planning is underway for the second year of Good News Gloucester, a revival to be held Sept. 27-Oct. 2 in a field on Gloucester Moose Lodge property.
Tim Byrd, an organizer, said the revival is being planned with the knowledge that it must be “safe for everyone” in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Those attending may choose to sit on chairs and blankets that they bring, or to listen on their car radios to a simulcast. Each night, gates will open at 5:30. Services begin 7 p.m. and will conclude around 8:30 p.m.
Speakers will be Pastor Milton Harding of Agapai Solutions and a former pastor of The Washington Football Team, and Pastor Fred Weymouth of The Fix Ministry in King William County.
In preparation for the revival, two open-air prayer meetings have been set, at 7:30 a.m. Sept. 12 and 26 in front of Building 2 at the Gloucester Court Circle, Byrd said.
