The annual Mathews Community Easter Egg Hunt was held on Saturday morning, with brightly colored, candy-filled eggs scattered throughout the court green. Not much longer than a minute later, all 4,000 eggs were gone, scooped up by the children who lined up for the chance to get some Easter treats. The egg hunt is sponsored by the Tara M. Plotino Memorial Fund and the Mathews County Visitor and Information Center.
