A GoFundMe page has been set up to help a Hayes woman who is in the hospital ICU undergoing major health challenges.
Tracy Ward, a single mother of two boys, was recently diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. “While she is awake, she is now unable to communicate or move,” organizer Chelsea Batista wrote in her GoFundMe appeal. “This has been an incredibly difficult and uncertain time for her and her boys, and as she remains in the hospital receiving treatment, the financial burden continues to grow.”
The GoFundMe page has been set up a little over a week ago with a goal of $7,000. As of Tuesday morning, $5,805 had been raised to support Ward.
