Members of The First United Baptist Church and Apostles Lutheran Church, both in Gloucester, joined on June 25 for a “God’s Work, Our Hands” day of service to help people in the community. Joedey Bell from Bay Aging identified people in need of help. The work included repairing a bathroom door and an outside deck and lots of yard work. After the morning of work, everyone enjoyed a delicious lunch, and are planning to do this again in the fall, a release said.
