The Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society is set to receive a $15,000 grant investment from the national nonprofit organization Petco Love during a special celebration at the Gloucester Petco at 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 7.
“Our investment in Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society is part of more than $15 million in investments recently announced by Petco Love to power local organizations across the country as part of our commitment to create a future in which no pet is unnecessarily euthanized,” said Susanne Kogut, president of Petco Love.
“The GMHS team and I are honored to count Petco Love among our partners and grateful for their continued investment in our mission to save and transform the lives of homeless pets,” said April Martinez, CEO of GMHS. “This grant award helps ensure all those served by GMHS continue to have access to our special brand of lifesaving programs and services and our organization remains a beacon of hope and safe harbor for those in need.
