The Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society is holding a kitten shower Saturday from 1-3 p.m. at the shelter.
Every spring, GMHS receives an influx of kittens. Supporters are encouraged to help the shelter kittens by bringing in items from its kitten wish list. Monetary donations can also be made in-person or online through the shelter’s website.
For every $20 donated, you get to name a kitten. Learn more about fostering kittens at the shower. There will be snacks, games, face painting, raffles and more at the event.
The shelter’s greatest needs for kittens are canned kitten food, KMR (kitten milk replacement) powder, dry kitten food, cat toys, cat treats and cool mist humidifiers.
