The Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society will hold its first Pet Loss Support Group meeting next Thursday, May 25, from 6-7 p.m. at the shelter.
This is a peer-led support group for those dealing with the loss of a pet. According to a release from GMHS, “this group offers a nonjudgmental setting to express your feelings in a safe and supportive environment.”
The group will meet at GMHS the last Thursday of each month from 6-7 p.m. It is free to attend and refreshments will be provided.
