The Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society has started a new adoption program, “Seniors for Seniors,” where senior citizens can adopt a senior dog or cat for a lowered adoption fee.
Those age 65 and older can adopt a senior dog of seven years or older for $50 or a senior cat of 10 years or older for $30.
