GMHS executive director resigns for new position in Florida

Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society Executive Director Charles Brown has resigned to accept a similar position with the Port Charlotte, Florida, Animal Welfare League shelter.
According to GMHS Board Vice President Elizabeth McCormick, Brown has offered to continue to work with GMHS staff remotely during the transition to new leadership.
The search for a new director is underway.
