Gloucester’s wine festival returns under new name

The Gloucester County Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual wine festival from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at Brent & Becky’s Bulbs. The one-day event will be operating under a new name this year, “Wine, Whiskey and Whatnot.”
All festival attendees are required to park at Ware Academy. Newton buses, which are climate controlled and handicap accessible, will be shuttling attendees to and from the festival throughout the day.
Wineries and distilleries taking part in Saturday’s festivities include Lazy Days Winery, Mattaponi Winery, Zoll Vineyards, Cobbler Mountain Cellars, Naked Mountain Winery, Vintner’s Cellar Winery of Yorktown, Sandy River Distillery, Copper Fox Distillery, Wind Vineyards, Saudé Creek Vineyards and Front Four Cellars.
Gloucester Brewing Company will also be selling craft beer. The chamber beer tent will have Bud Light, Michelob Ultra and Devils Backbone Vienna Lager for sale.
