The Gloucester Chamber of Commerce will hold its 11th Gloucester Wine Festival on Saturday, resuming after COVID-19 for the first time since 2019. If the event hadn’t been sidelined by the pandemic, this would have been the 13th annual event.
The festival will be held at Brent and Becky’s Bulbs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Once again, all parking will be at Ware Academy’s parking lot, with shuttle buses taking patrons to and from the event. Those attending are asked to bring their ID. No coolers.
Head sponsors for this year’s wine festival are Chesapeake Bank and Chesapeake Wealth Management. The event will include a performance by Slapnation.
“We are exceptionally excited about the Gloucester Wine Festival coming back this year,” Chamber Executive Director Makalia Records said. “It is our honor to bring the community together especially after not being able to hold it after two years and we love to showcase our local businesses.”
