The Gloucester School Board will hold an electronic work session beginning at 5:30 p.m. today. The meeting will be broadcast live on Cox channel 47 and can be viewed at www.gloucesterva.info/GCTV.

The agenda includes continued discussion, and possible action, on the plan for reopening county schools this fall. This will include a presentation on the CANVAS online learning management system.

The board is also scheduled to decide whether its Aug. 6 retreat and its Aug. 18 monthly meeting will be in person or conducted electronically.

Public comments may be made by calling 804-693-5842 at 5:30 p.m. Callers are asked to state their name and magisterial district in which they reside, and will have three minutes to speak.
