Gloucester School Board approves personnel changes

The Gloucester County School Board made several personnel appointments during its July 13 meeting at the T.C. Walker Education Center.
Appointed to teaching positions for the 2021-2022 school year were Howard Lucas of Deltaville, Jennifer Martinez of Gloucester, Avencia Ross of Williamsburg, Jared Collacchi of New Point, and Keri-Sue Baker of Baltimore, Maryland, all effective Aug. 16.
Appointed to support services personnel positions were Katelynn Burns of Gloucester, effective Aug. 19; Kimberly Menges of Gloucester, effective Aug. 30; Barbara Dixon of Hudgins, effective July 6; and Michelle Brown of Jamaica, effective Aug. 2.
In contract changes/re-assignments, Nicole Lantz, an instructional technology resource teacher for Petsworth and Bethel elementary schools, was named the assistant principal at Abingdon Elementary School. The effective date is to be determined.
