Gloucester County Public Library, Main Street Center, will hold programs on “Farming Healthy” and “Valiant Women of the Vote” next month.
On Wednesday, March 12, Jean Howard from CA & J Farm in Foster will present “Farming Healthy,” where participants will learn about healthy approaches to an enjoyable lifestyle.
The following day, Thursday, March 13, the library will present “Valiant Women of the Vote.” Historical interpreters Kim Forslund and Marilyn Iglesias of the Ladies Victorian will present the program, where people are invited to learn about the history of the 19th Amendment, which guaranteed women the right to vote. Both programs will begin at 6 p.m.
Registration is now open for both programs, which are designed for adults 18 and older. Space is limited. Call 804-693-2998 for more information.
