Gloucester Pickleball Club

Gloucester Pickleball Club members Carlos Morales, Mike Raymer, Joyce Coles, Rick Parkins, and Lanell Jarvis participated in the Williamsburg Pickleball Spring League. This event started on April 15 and ended on May 27. Team GPC competed in the Intermediate Division with seven other teams from Williamsburg/James City County. Teams in this division were ranked at Skill Level 2.5 to 3.5 by USA Pickleball Standards. Raymer and Morales made up the men’s doubles team, winning all of their matches. Jarvis and Coles played in the women’s doubles. Jarvis and Parkins made up the mixed doubles team for the season. Both women’s and mixed doubles teams only lost one match all season. Team GPC ended the spring league with a 19-2 record and came in first place overall. Jarvis also made league history by being top player in three out of six categories for Most Matches Won, Most Games Won, and Most Points Scored.
