Gloucester Parks, Recreation and Tourism is offering a new session of its Wild Explorers Camp for ages 7-11. The new session will be held the week of July 17-20 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day. The fee for the camp is $75; July 10 is the deadline to register.
THE FULL HIKE: Gloucester PRT is sponsoring The Full Hike, a 9.5-mile trek from one end of Beaverdam Park to the other on Saturday, June 17, starting at 7 a.m. Participants meet at the main entrance where they will be shuttled to the Farys Mill Road entrance and make their way back. Participants are encouraged to bring water and snacks, wear sturdy shoes and dress for the weather. The registration fee is $5 and this Saturday, June 10, is the deadline to register.
