College or the workforce? Perhaps a stint in the military? What’s next?
Area youth wondering what to do with the next step in their lives got some help last week from the Gloucester NAACP. The organization’s Education Committee held its annual College and Career Fair Resource Fair last Thursday at Gloucester High School.
With about 50 employers, colleges/universities and technical education programs at the event, families came to explore the wide range of opportunities for current and returning students.
The event welcomed a good turnout of families, with about 100 students, from as far away as King and Queen County.
“The crowd just gets bigger every year,” said Gloucester NAACP president Pamela Griffin-Armstead. Griffin-Armstead also said that she is looking forward to the event continuing to grow in future years.
