The Gloucester School Board made several personnel appointments at its March 14 meeting, held in the T.C. Walker Education Center auditorium.
Barry Smith of Gloucester was appointed to a security officer position at Bethel Elementary School, effective March 15; Christina Cox of Gloucester was appointed to a paraprofessional position at Achilles Elementary School, effective March 6; Cheri Grunst of Cobbs Creek was appointed to a reading intervention position at Abingdon Elementary School, effective March 6; Carolyn Briggs of Gloucester was appointed to a bookkeeper position at Abingdon, effective April 10; and Bambi Thompson of Cobbs Creek was appointed to an administrative support position at Page Middle School, effective March 13.
Also appointed for this school year were Jean Mahon, Ariana Bloemhard and Lisa Sampson to substitute teacher positions.
