Gloucester Main Street holds annual meeting

Gloucester Main Street brought together local business owners, property owners, nonprofits, and community partners on Tuesday, Jan. 14, for its annual meeting.
Held at the Fine Arts Museum of Gloucester, the meeting focused on reviewing the insights gathered from the Main Street businesses for 2024 and how this feedback will help shape the initiatives undertaken by the organization in the coming year, said a press release.
Executive Director Lena Weisman looked ahead to 2025, stating that Gloucester Main Street is committed to creating more opportunities for collaboration among businesses, expanding educational workshops, and enhancing communication with members, said the release. The organization will also focus on strengthening its event offerings and refining market strategies to increase the district’s viability. Signature events like Find Love on Main Street and the Beer Garden at the Daffodil Festival will continue, alongside new opportunities for community engagement.
