Gloucester Main Street continues to build on its success

Gloucester’s Main Street is building quite a reputation in the area as a shopping and dining destination.
And, as it continues to blossom, a recently conducted National Main Street market analysis looks at what may be in store for the vibrant downtown community over the next 3-5 years.
The Fine Arts Museum of Gloucester served as the backdrop for last Thursday’s Big Reveal, with the Main Street Preservation Trust and Gloucester Main Street Association inviting residents, business owners and other stakeholders to go over the findings from Matt Wagner of National Main Street. The analysis examined the recent community survey, asset mapping and other data to determine economic trends for the area in the coming years.
About 50-60 people filled the new museum (which is located in Main Street Center), with Ann Glave sharing the market analysis results with the community.
