Gloucester Library’s Fall Book Sale starts Friday

The Gloucester County Friends of the Library will hold its Fall Book Sale Friday through Sunday in the Community Room of the library’s Main Street Center branch.
Hours for the public are 1-5 p.m. on Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 1-5 p.m. Sunday. The sale will open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday only to members of the Friends of the Library.
In addition to works of fiction, there will be a large number of non-fiction books including art, history, cooking, politics, religion, gardening, animals, sports, biography, music and poetry. The sale will also feature a large selection of children’s books.
Hardback books are available for $1; paperbacks are 50 cents, and pocket paperbacks are 25 cents or five for $1. Children’s books are 10 cents. There will also be a silent auction featuring old books, children’s books and books of special interest.
Anyone who would like to become a member of the Friends may sign up at the book sale. Annual dues are $5 per family.
