The Gloucester County Public Library will hold several programs this month at the Main Street Center location.
The library will host author Lorraine Hanson and her English Angora and French Lop rabbits on Saturday, Oct. 14, at 10:30 a.m. Hanson will discuss her upcoming book, “Cece Hops Again,” and what it is like raising and caring for these special rabbits. This program is for all ages.
“Outside Unafraid: Slithering, Spooking and Screeching Species” will be presented by Machicomoco State Park at the library on Wednesday, Oct. 18, at 6 p.m. Rangers will introduce some of the park’s scariest species and participants will learn basic methods for identifying. Hands-on activities and auditory experiences will be used to learn about the park’s spookiest creatures. This program is for students in grades fourth through sixth.
The Mariners’ Museum will present “Pirates: Fact or Fiction” at the library on Saturday, Oct. 28, at 10:30 a.m. Find out if pirates really searched for buried treasure ...
