Gloucester Economic Development Authority is sponsoring a business seminar on Monday, June 11 at the Main Street Center conference room in the Main Street Center.
The seminar will focus on both general retail business and service businesses, said Gloucester economic development director Douglas Meredith.
Two blocks of seminars will be held, with a general business seminar from 8-10 a.m. and a session from noon-2 p.m. that day to target service retail businesses.
The facilitator for both sessions will be Marc Willson, retail consultant at the Virginia Small Business Development Center Network at George Mason University.
Meredith said that Willson will speak in the morning session about a variety of business concepts that will "focus on growing smart and improving profits." In addition, Willson will emphasize effective ways and ideas that businesses can work together, and offer a list of "business do’s and don’ts."
