Gloucester Chamber to recognize business leaders at ‘Hoedown’

The Gloucester County Chamber of Commerce will hold its Annual Business Awards for the first time since 2020. This year, the theme of the awards is “Hoedown in GTown,” and will be held at Machicomoco State Park on March 25.
The Business Awards are the chamber’s way of recognizing the businesses and community leaders of Gloucester, said Makalia Records, the chamber’s executive director. Awards up for grabs include the Small Business of the Year, Nonprofit Organization of the Year, Best New Business, Business Professional of the Year and the LOVE Gloucester Award. The LOVE Gloucester Award goes to the business that best exemplifies what it means to live and do business in Gloucester.
Records said chamber members are encouraged to go to the chamber website or visit February’s E-blast to find the voting form. The form is a 10-question survey where voters can write in their nominations for each award and provide the chamber with feedback.
