The Gloucester County Board of Supervisors has announced its meeting schedule on the FY 2012 budget process.

The first occasion is a joint budget meeting/work session between the supervisors and the Gloucester County School Board on Thursday, March 24, starting at 7 p.m. in the Gloucester High School auditorium.

A public hearing on the proposed budget is scheduled for Monday, April 11, at 7 p.m. in the Gloucester High School auditorium. Finally, the adoption of the budget and tax rate is scheduled for Tuesday, April 26, beginning at 7 p.m. in the colonial courthouse.

Two budget work sessions, if needed, have been scheduled for April 14 and April 21, at 7 p.m. in the colonial courthouse.

Copies of the proposed budget are available to the public at both public library locations and on the county’s website, www.gloucesterva.info.
