U9 Hurricanes
The Baystars U9 Hurricanes played their first game as a team against the Smithfield Vipers on Saturday at Carrollton Nike Park in Isle of Wight. The Hurricanes won, 10-1. They played well and kept their opponents at bay.
The Hurricanes finished the first half with six goals, scored evenly by Theo Collins and Jack Sheridan. The opposing team only managed to get past the keeper once, scoring their only goal during the first half.
The second half started off quickly with a goal by Oliver Graham, Sebastian Newman and two more goals by Sheridan.The Hurricanes will play again this Saturday at Woodville Park at 11 a.m.
U10 White Caps
The Baystars U10 White Caps youth soccer team traveled to the Churchland Soccer Complex on Saturday to take on the OBX Storm U10 Cyclones in their first game of the fall season. The White Caps won, 5-2.
