Gloucester Arts Festival to be held June 2-24

Plans for the 2023 Gloucester Arts Festival have been laid, and tickets are now available for purchase. The festival will be held June 2-24, offering a wide variety of activities in various locations to art lovers of all ages.
During the first week, activities will include a kick-off Brews, Brine & Wine gathering at Machicomoco State Park on Friday, June 2, followed by the annual Symphony Under the Stars on Main Street on Saturday, June 3.
The festival will provide numerous additional opportunities during June such as Cocktails in the Garden, the Mathews Paint Out, and Paint Main, when art enthusiasts can observe artists painting, attend receptions to meet the artists, and hear artists discuss their work. At Paint Main, local artists can create their own plein air paintings alongside the festival’s featured artists and then sell their work “fresh off the easel.”
