Global art

Students in a recent three-day camp at the Bay School Community Arts Center made art inspired by the seven continents. Left, Isla Hendricks works on the South American faux bark painting shown right. Other projects included an African sunset silhouette, penguin paintings inspired by Antarctica, a line drawing project inspired by Renaissance artist Leonardo da Vinci, Australian-inspired Aboriginal dot painting, Asian Kokeshi doll canvas painting, and North American faux painted stretched hide. The class was taught by Virginia Coyle and Jennifer Schroeder.
