Glenna Daire Waltrip Bonniville, 87, of Gloucester, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 21, 2013.

 

She was born in South Norfolk, Va., and was the daughter of the late Lloyd Henry and Ruth Lloyd Waltrip, and was the widow of George Maxwell Bonniville. She was a member of Severn Church.

 

She was also preceded in death by her sister, Carol Waltrip Pitts, and brothers, Lloyd, Irvin, David and Kermit.

 

She is survived by her son, Robert Lloyd Paulette (Gale); daughter, Janice Wheatley (Douglas); her grandchildren, Paula, Max, Reneé, Adam, Kat, Glenn, Kitty, and Sharon, and 14 great-grandchildren; her sisters-in-law, Mary Waltrip, Virginia Waltrip, Elizabeth Setterholm and Viola Bonniville, and a special niece, Theresa Harris and her husband Bennie, whom she loved like a son. 

 

The family received friends at the funeral home on Monday, Dec. 23, 2013, from 6:30-8 p.m. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2013, at 1 p.m. in Severn Church by the Rev. William West. Burial will be in Windsor Gardens Cemetery at a later date.
