Glenn Ralph Oliver, 60, of Hayes, died June 8, 2012.

Glenn was a native of Gloucester, having grown up in the Coke area. He worked as an electrician’s assistant and also in lawn maintenance. He was an avid sports fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the Baltimore Orioles.

Glenn was a free spirit and a beloved friend to all.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph P. and Vivian G. Oliver.

He is survived by sister, Delores Oliver Carter; brothers, Eddie A. Oliver and wife Angela and Kevin Oliver; nieces, Megan and Olivia; nephews, Nicholas and Eddie Jr., and a host of friends.

Memorial service conducted by the Rev. Bob Robbins will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, June 16, 2012 at Beech Grove Baptist Church, 4073 Cedar Bush Road, Hayes.

In Glenn’s memory, contributions may be given to Beech Grove Baptist Church, P.O. Box 100, White Marsh, Va. 23184.
